Pedro Moraya Barros has a Ph.D. in economics with a focus on foreign investment and international taxation and has received training at schools such as Oxford University, London School of Economics, and Harvard University. His research has been published in academic and non-academic outlets such as the Accounting & Finance Journal and Amazon.com. Before founding Moraya Consulting in 2019, Pedro led a team of over 150 people to build a database on global leaders sponsored by the World Bank, which is now publicly available. Previously, he also supported a multinational project based in London and Melbourne called "The Wealth Effect", currently being published by Cambridge University Press. While working on his academic degrees, he secured more than $100,000 in scholarships, which through diversified investments and wise international taxation strategies became a portfolio of multiple international residencies and stock/bond investments in more than 50 countries.
